About Us

HOA Elect CA, LLC was founded in 2020 by Shawn Clay and is supported by his family and friends in and out of the HOA industry. Shawn was born and raised in Selma, California in the Central Valley and graduated from BIOLA University in Southern California with a degree in Political Science. He moved to San Diego in 1998 and San Diego has been his home ever since. He loves everything San Diego especially the San Diego Padres and the San Diego Gulls. For the past 13 years Shawn has had the experience working with developers and HOA's all across the US and Canada filling their associations vacancies through the travel industry. He is excited to provide election services to associations across the state of California.

HOA Elect CA will guarantee to bring your association a smooth worry-free election, on time and with every deadline met. Elections will be held fairly and in guidance with the laws of the state of California and the governing documents and election rules of each individual association. We work strongly with our community and industry partners to provide the best election services and are very proud that the majority of our business comes from their referrals. We promise to never let you, or them down!

In that spirit, we are excited to be accepted as industry partners and members of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) and the California Association of Community Managers (CACM). Being industry partners allows us to participate in each association's continued learning programs offering online and in-person learning. This allows us to be up to date on all the new and exciting opportunities and changes affecting Home Owners' Associations and community management.
